- Think through a no

- Find a way where there is no way
- Getting around or beyond the no is the trick to succeed in spite of the no
Breaking the Thinking from What You Believed
- Wisdom is a deeper understanding of principles over time but remains relevant
- As wisdom is gained, change is required
- Rules and boundaries that were in place at one point will no longer be relevant once wisdom is gained, rules and boundaries must then be altered
Winston Churchill Story:
- He knew he needed a different strategy to win and wanted to build a tank
- Prime Minister reminded him of his role as “Lord of Admiralty” and if it didn’t involve ships or water, it wasn’t his job
- He built what he called a “Land Ship” to bring water to his men on the battlefield. The front of the Land Ship contained a huge compartment to hold water
- Later he decided that much water wasn’t really needed and suggested the water holding tank was removed and replaced with something that would hold weapons.
- These alterations over time became his tank which helped end WW1
- He found a way around his no, changed his rules and found success
